This is our fourth and final post of “Trompudo Napkin Art,” a whimsical project by TITM to make connections between the Sea Gull Cellar Bar Napkin Art produced in the 70s and 80s and the current mad-king president. TITM is working on a Gallery of Napkin Art. Eventually we hope to have our entire collection of napkin art posted in the gallery and arranged by artist. This is a work in progress. You can view the Gallery at this LINK.
“You know, if you go out and you want to buy groceries, you need a picture on a card, you need ID,” Trump continued. “You go out and you want to buy anything, you need ID and you need your picture.”
“Trump’s White House has been a money-making machine” CNBC
“At President Trump’s hotel in New York, revenue went up this spring — thanks to a visit from big-spending Saudis. Last week, a federal judge in Maryland gave the go-ahead to a lawsuit alleging that by accepting government business at his propertes, Trump is violating the Constitution’s “emoluments clauses” — dusty 18th-century measures meant to prevent presidents from putting their private bank accounts ahead of the public interest.” Washington Post
“Trump’s appeal is ‘straight out of 1984,” Longtime Republican strategist Steve Schmidt tears into Trump’s tirades against the media. Daniel Patrick Moynihan to Trompudo: “You are entitled to your own opinion, but you are not entitled to your own facts.”
‘It’s heartbreaking’: military family shattered as wife of decorated US marine deported to Mexico. The breaking apart of American military families marks a new low point in Trump’s war on immigration, some White House critics believe, while Alejandra Juarez – who is being expelled 20 years after she entered the US illegally from Mexico as a teenager – says it is a “slap in the face”. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2018/aug/02/military-family-separation-immigration-trump-mexico
If it rolls like a duck, quacks like a duck and tweets like a duck, it’s collusion. Trompudo pretty much admits in a tweet that he colluded with the Russians in the Trump Tower meeting.
Trompudo disputes the schmaltzy ending of the movie made by hippies during the sixties. He says the von Trapp family was actually deported from Switzerland back to Austria or “wherever the hell they came from.” He’s currently negotiating with Harvey Weinstein. I hear a movie based on alternative facts starring Stormy Daniels is set for a hard release.
Drug overdoses are rising while illegal border crossings are declining. Could it be, Trompudo, that those rapists, criminals, and drug dealers are not Mexicans but Americans? Maybe we should be deporting those doctors who are oversubscribing opioids. Reagan and Trump … daddy has to step in and spank a few asses to keep junior in place, about every 30 years, so the rich can get richer by perpetuating the myth that the poor can too.
Trompudo’s EPA pledges allegiance …
Judge slams Trump admin for suggesting ACLU, others should find deported parents … Maybe Trompudo could mandate putting pictures of the missing children on milk cartons?
Trompudo’s philosopher VP, Pangloss (you know, from Voltaire’s Candide) celebrates the Space Force wagging his tail behind him.
Remembering Charlottesville: to paraphrase President Bush, I looked into Trompudo’s eyes and saw his soul.
Does she love him or does she not? Omarosa throws Trompudo under the bus. “They continue to deceive this nation by how mentally declined he is, about how difficult it is for him to process complex information, how he is not engaged in some of the most important decisions that impacts our country.”
The man who would be king, Trompudo, Snubs John McCain During the Signing of a Bill Named After the Ailing War Hero.
Trompudo and Omarosa … Omarosa and Trompudo. Which will be The Survivor?
Dave…these are great! I fear that Trump napkin art will continue on into the future. Perhaps we should start using toilet paper instead.
🙂
Unfortunately for about 40 percent of voters we will need tinfoil so they can see their own faces shining back at them.
Belongs in the Smithsonian.
Yep. I’ll speak with the Smiths about that. See the Roy Hoggard Gallery for a napkin sketch of the Smiths.
